Barry’s Carp Bitter is a tried and tested carp fly. This fly is designed to be a medium weight swimming fly that replicates anything from floating moss to a swimming leech and anything in between. Throw it at feeding fish, sunning fish or movers and there is a good chance the fish will take a look at it.

Thread – Danvilles Denier 140 Olive
Hot Head – Danvilles Denier 140 Hot Orange
Body – Hareline Hare’s Ear Plus Dubbin Olive
Tail – Hareline Wollybugger Maribu Light Olive
Rubber Legs – Hareline Loco Legs Olive
Hackle – Hareline India Hen Back Olive
Eyes – Hareline Beadchain Eyes Black
Lead – Hareline Lead .015
